This Veterans Day, and every day, we salute our veterans of Iowa. RALI Iowa partners with many veterans organizations to help increase awareness of substance use disorders among veteran communities and connect them with resources.
Did you know that veterans are at higher risk of opioid addiction because they are more likely to experience an injury during their service? One in 15 struggles with a substance use disorder, which represents approximately 1.5 million veterans across the country.
